The NFASP’s second conference will take place in Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008, during the Liverpool Biennial

On 23 October 2008. Using the Liverpool experience as its starting point, the conference will raise issues about the use of space, and how and by whom it is valued. The conference will highlight theory and practice from different perspectives through presentations, case studies and discussions.

Nick Capaldi announced as new Chief Executive of Arts Council Wales

Nick Capaldi will join Arts Council Wales as the new Chief Executive in September. Formerly the Executive Director of Arts Council England, South West he brings to the post over 30 years of arts experience. He is currently a Board member of the Bristol Cultural Development Partnership and Culture South West.

NEW! NFASP membership for studio organisations in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales

Formerly, full membership was only available for groups in England. Now, full Studio membership has been extended to not-for-profit studio groups and organisations that provide affordable workspace for artists in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales as well as England.
