The NFASP is governed by a board of sixteen trustees (the management committee). Currently there are twelve trustees, a number of whom were elected from the steering group which was responsible for the formation of the NFASP. Several new trustees have been recruited in the last two years through open advertising and election at NFASP's Annual General Meetings.
Trustees are drawn from across the UK and bring a range of skills, knowledge and experience, of the different scales and types of studio groups and organisations and of specialist areas such as planning, property development, accountancy and other areas of relevance to the studios sector.
The NFASP currently has four vacant places on its management committee and is interested in recruiting trustees with expertise in specific areas to strengthen the board’s capacity and strategic role. In particular we are seeking individuals with expertise in planning and land use, advocacy and public policy, and legal skills.
If you are interested in joining the NFASP board of trustees please contact us for details of how to register your interest. Tel: 020 7426 0067, email: ask@nfasp.org.uk
